This policy explains what information we collect on installscale.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can do about it. It applies to this website only.

1. What we collect

Information you give us

If you complete the questionnaire on our home page, we record your answers: the type of roofing work you want more of, your ZIP code, how many additional jobs your company could take on, and whether a given monthly budget is within range for you. These answers describe your business, not you personally.

If you then book a call, the booking form asks for your name and email address, and optionally a phone number and anything you write in the notes field. That booking form is provided by Cal.com and is embedded in our page.

Information collected automatically

Your IP address and browser user agent.
The page you visited, and the advertising parameters in the link you arrived through (for example which campaign and which advertisement).
Identifiers set by the Meta pixel in cookies named _fbp and _fbc.
A random identifier we generate and store in your browser under is_xid, used only to recognise that separate events came from the same visit.

We use Microsoft Clarity to see how the page is used. Clarity records the pages you view, your mouse movement, clicks and scrolling, and can replay that as an anonymised session recording, and it aggregates it into heatmaps. What you type into form fields is masked by Clarity before it leaves your browser, so we do not see it in a recording. We use this only to find where the page confuses people.

We do not build profiles about you beyond what is described here, and we do not use any other analytics product.

2. Why we use it

To respond to you. We use your name, email and phone number to contact you about the call you booked and about our services.
To measure and improve our advertising. We report to Meta which advertisement led to a booking, so that advertising budget goes to what works.
To operate the site securely and prevent abuse of our forms.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it with the service providers below, each of which processes it on our behalf or, in Meta's case, as an independent controller for advertising measurement.

Contact information sent to Meta is hashed with SHA-256 in our own server before it leaves us. Meta receives it in that form, not in plain text. Your IP address and user agent are transmitted unhashed, because Meta requires them in that form.

5. Your privacy choices

You can switch off measurement for this browser. If you do, we stop loading both the Meta pixel and Microsoft Clarity, and we stop sending measurement events about your visit. Nothing about your visit is recorded or replayed. The site keeps working normally and you can still book a call.

We also honour the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser sends it, we treat it as an opt-out automatically and you do not need to do anything here.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to opt out of its use for targeted advertising. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights by statute.

To exercise any of them, email mail@vantum-capital.com. We will respond within the time your law allows, and we will not treat you differently for asking. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiries and booking records are kept in our CRM for as long as we may reasonably do business together, and no longer than five years after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Advertising measurement data is retained by Meta according to their own policies.

8. Where your information is processed

We are based in the United States and our providers process information in the United States and, in the case of Cloudflare and Cal.com, potentially in other countries where they operate infrastructure.

9. Children

This site is aimed at owners of roofing companies. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made clear on the page itself.
