Privacy Policy
Last updated 28 September 2026
This policy explains what information InstallScale collects, why, who we share it with, and what you can do about it. It covers three groups of people: visitors to installscale.com, the bathroom remodeling companies that buy from us, and homeowners who answer one of our ads.
InstallScale is operated by Vantum Capital LLC, 1021 E Lincolnway, Suite #9372, Cheyenne, WY 82001, United States. You can reach us at mail@vantum-capital.com.
1. What we collect
From companies that book a call or buy from us
If you answer the short area check on our site, we record your answers about your business: your trade, the area you serve, whether you own or help run the company, your company name, your average job size, how many more jobs you can take per month and your answer on the monthly budget. These answers describe your business, not you personally. Together with your name, email and phone number they are passed to the Cal.com booking page, so the call can be prepared.
If you book a call, the booking form asks for your name and email address, and optionally a phone number and anything you write in the notes field. That booking form is provided by Cal.com and is embedded in our page.
Text messages about your call
If you give us your mobile number in the area check, InstallScale texts you about the call you booked from our US business number: a confirmation, reminders before the call, and replies to your texts. Message frequency varies, usually one to three messages per booking. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time and HELP for help. Texting is not a condition of booking a call. We do not share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.
If you buy a lead pack or sign up for the monthly program, we receive your company name, your name, email, mobile number, billing details and the ZIP codes you want to cover, and for the monthly program your business address. Card payments are handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
When you sign the services agreement for the monthly program, we record your typed name and title, the time, your IP address, browser and country, and a fingerprint of the document, and we keep a copy of the agreement you signed. We also log the IP address each time the agreement link is opened. This record proves which text was signed and by whom.
From homeowners who answer our ads
Homeowners reach us through Meta instant forms, the forms inside Facebook and Instagram ads. The form collects your name, mobile number, email, street and ZIP code, whether you own the home, the project type, your timeline and the price range you accepted. We check the mobile number against the phone carrier to confirm it is a valid US mobile number.
Each form names one company, the installer who will contact you, and asks for your consent with a checkbox that is not checked in advance. We send your details by email to that one company only. We do not sell them to anyone else, and we never call or text you ourselves.
The consent record we keep
For every homeowner form we keep a consent record made of:
- the exact consent text you were shown, including the company it names;
- the state of each checkbox, as Meta reports it;
- the time the form was submitted;
- the form ID and the ad you came from;
- Meta’s lead ID.
We keep it for four years, so the company can show that you agreed to be contacted, and we give it to that company on request. Meta instant forms do not give us your IP address or information about your device, so we do not have or store them for homeowner inquiries.
Collected automatically when you visit installscale.com
- Your IP address and browser user agent.
- The page you visited, and the advertising parameters in the link you arrived through (for example which campaign and which advertisement).
- Advertising identifiers in cookies named
_fbp(set by the Meta pixel) and_fbc(set by the Meta pixel or by our site script from the ad link you clicked). - A random identifier we generate and store in your browser under
is_xid, used to recognize that separate events came from the same browser. We send it to Meta only in hashed form. - If you fill in our area check form: your company name, your name, email, phone number and the city or ZIP code you enter. For measurement, Meta receives your name, email, phone number and city or ZIP code only in hashed form, as described in section 3. Your company name is not sent to Meta.
We use Microsoft Clarity to see how our pages are used. Clarity records the pages you view, your mouse movement, clicks and scrolling, and can replay that as a session recording, and it aggregates it into heatmaps. What you type into our form, and the area you enter, is masked before it leaves your browser, so we do not see it in a recording. We use this only to find where a page confuses people.
This applies to visitors of our website. It does not apply to homeowners who only fill in a Meta instant form. We do not build profiles about you beyond what is described here, and we do not use any other analytics product.
2. Why we use it
- To respond to you. We use a company contact’s name, email and phone number to contact them about the call they booked, their order and our services.
- To deliver leads. We send a homeowner’s details by email to the one company named on the form they filled in.
- To prove consent. We keep the consent record described above.
- To measure and improve our advertising. We report to Meta which advertisement led to a booking or a form, so that advertising budget goes to what works.
- To operate the site securely and prevent abuse of our forms.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it with the parties below. Service providers process it on our behalf; Meta acts as an independent controller for advertising measurement and for the instant forms it hosts; the installer named on a homeowner’s form receives that homeowner’s details to contact them.
| Recipient | Purpose | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| The installer named on the form | Contacting the homeowner about their project | The homeowner’s form answers and, on request, the consent record |
| Meta Platforms | Instant forms, advertising measurement and optimization | For website visitors: which page and event (page view; in the area check: area checked,
budget question reached, your answer on the monthly budget, contact step reached, form sent;
call booked); if the area check ends early, the reason (homeowner, average job under $5,000
or no budget), also when you change that answer afterwards; your answers about your business
when you send the area check (trade, whether you own or help run the company, average job
size, monthly capacity, your answer on the monthly budget), hashed email, hashed phone number,
hashed first and last name, hashed city or ZIP code, hashed country, the hashed
is_xid identifier, IP address, browser user agent, and the _fbp and
_fbc identifiers. Your company name is not sent to Meta.
Meta also hosts the instant forms homeowners fill in |
| Phone carrier lookup provider | Confirming a homeowner’s number is a valid US mobile number | The mobile number |
| Resend | Sending lead, order and credit emails | The homeowner’s form answers in each lead email, and the buyer’s email address |
| Quo (OpenPhone Technologies) | Sending and receiving text messages about a booked call | A company contact’s name, mobile number, the call time and the texts exchanged |
| Cal.com | Call booking | Name, email, phone number, company name, your area check answers (city or ZIP, trade, whether you own or help run the company, job size, capacity, budget answer), time zone and any notes you enter |
| Payment processor | Card payments for lead packs and the monthly program | Name, email, billing address and card details |
| Close | Our customer relationship management system | Name, company, email, phone number, your questionnaire answers, and which advertisement you came from |
| Cloudflare | Website hosting and our server endpoint | IP address and request data, as part of delivering the page |
| Google Fonts | Delivering the typeface on our pages | IP address and browser, as part of loading the font |
| Microsoft (Clarity) | Usage analysis, heatmaps and session recording | Pages viewed, mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, screen size, browser and IP address, and your answers to the area check questions (not your contact details). Form field contents are masked before transmission |
Contact information sent to Meta for measurement is hashed with SHA-256 before it is transmitted: by our own server for server events, and by the Meta pixel in your browser for browser events. Meta receives it in that form, not in plain text. The IP address and user agent of website visitors are transmitted unhashed, because Meta requires them in that form.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
_fbp | Meta pixel | Distinguishes browsers for advertising measurement | 90 days |
_fbc | Meta pixel or our site script | Stores the advertisement click you arrived through | 90 days |
is_xid | Us, in local storage and a first-party cookie | Links events from the same browser | 1 year, or until you clear your browser storage |
_clck | Microsoft Clarity | Links your page views into one session | 1 year |
_clsk | Microsoft Clarity | Groups the page views of a single visit | 1 day |
is_optout | Us, if you opt out below | Records that you do not want to be measured | 1 year |
5. Your privacy choices
You can switch off measurement for this browser. If you do, we stop loading the Meta pixel and Microsoft Clarity, and we stop sending measurement events about your visit, also from pages you already have open. The site keeps working normally and you can still book a call.
We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser sends it, we treat it as an opt-out automatically and you do not need to do anything here.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to opt out of its use for targeted advertising. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights by statute.
To exercise any of them, email mail@vantum-capital.com. We will respond within the time your law allows, and we will not treat you differently for asking. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request. If you are a homeowner and ask us to delete your details, we delete everything except the consent record, which we keep for the four years described above. To stop hearing from an installer, tell that installer directly; they are responsible for honoring your opt-out.
7. How long we keep it
Inquiries, orders and booking records from companies are kept in our CRM for as long as we may reasonably do business together, and no longer than five years after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Homeowner consent records, with the lead they belong to, are kept for four years from the day the form was submitted. Advertising measurement data is retained by Meta according to their own policies.
8. Where your information is processed
We are based in the United States and our providers process information in the United States and, in the case of Cloudflare and Cal.com, potentially in other countries where they operate infrastructure.
9. Children
This site is aimed at owners of bathroom remodeling companies, and our ads are aimed at adult homeowners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
10. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made clear on the page itself.
